Kenneth Omoruyi

Kenneth is an alumnus of the University of Southern California, Leventhal School of Accounting, where he earned his Master’s degree in Business Taxation. Kenneth holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting. Prior to starting CKO, CPAs & Advisors LLC, Kenneth worked for Schlumberger, the world’s largest oil field services company within their North America corporate accounting and tax division. Kenneth won numerous “Be Outstanding” awards in Schlumberger for implementing and championing both Process improvement initiatives and Leadership development activities. 

Kenneth is an adjunct professor of Accounting at Lonestar College and the 2020/2021 Vice Chair - Tax Expo Committee - Houston CPA Society. Kenneth is an active member of the Lone Star College Accounting Advisory Board, AICPA, and Houston CPA Society. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Kenneth is also an IRS Enrolled Agent. Kenneth is an active alumnus of the AICPA Leadership Academy. 

Outside of work, Kenneth enjoys playing Alto Saxophone at his local church and spending time with his wife and children. 

Michael D. Sullivan – Former IRS Agent

Michael D. Sullivan, Founder of Michael D. Sullivan is a former IRS Agent. He was a renowned IRS officer with several awards having served for a period of 10 years as an offer in Compromise Tax Specialist and Large Dollar Case Specialist. He also worked hand-in-hand with the office of the U.S. Attorney on some private operations.
While with the IRS, Michael was a certified Tax instructor who trained many new IRS agents and taught out of Atlanta Regional IRS training Offices; also, local and district offices of the IRS. In addition, he takes Attorneys, Lawyers, and CPAs on continuing education courses.
For the last 35 years, Michael has been in private practice in Taxpayer consultation for IRS Audit and collection tax resolution issues. He’s involved in a wide range of tax issues and consults with individuals and corporations.
He is experienced in large complex cases for high-net-worth individuals and large corporations. He often speaks at the tax professional community on the South Florida circuit and on the Board of the Greater South Florida Tax Council.
Michael hosted and moderated a lot of IRS forums including public and professional sectors. He also has been a featured speaker in the credit card industry, student loan, and the debt settlement vertical. He was one of the featured speakers at the Latino Tax Fest alongside Nina Olsen, 
Nation Taxpayer Advocate.

Julie Lynch - Former IRS Agent

Julie served as a Revenue Officer in the Collection Division of the Internal Revenue Service for 38 years. During the time of her active service, she was involved in collection cases for both individuals and businesses and handled aspects to resolve the cases from securing offers-in-compromise, installment agreements, reporting cases currently not collectible and requests for abatement.

She was involved with all sections within the IRS. she also had regular meetings with representatives of the U.S. Attorney’s office and the IRS Office of Chief Counsel.
As a Senior Revenue Officer, Julie mentored lower graded employers, she also taught several IRS classes and was an on-the-job instructor for new employees.
As a result of her expertise, many departments within the Collection Division often summoned her, in addition to assisting employees within her group.
While serving with the IRS, Julie gets the performance award on a yearly basis, she also got the regional commissioner’s award and a certificate of appreciation from the secretary of the treasury.
On retiring, she got the Albert Gallatin Excellent Service Award from the Secretary of the Treasury.

Herb Cantor - Former IRS Agent

Herb started his career in public accounting at the international CPA firm Harris, Kerr Forster where he worked for 2 years. After this, he got a job as a Revenue Agent with the IRS in the small business division where he primarily audited “C” and “S” corporations and Schedule-C’s. He also acted as an acting
 group manager.
 After 6 years, he became an Appeal Officer based on recommendation. He handled several cases which include individual income taxes, “C” and “S” corporations tax issues, claims for refunds, whether the trust fund recovery penalty applied to various individuals, unreasonable compensation from a corporation, whether the sale of an asset should be classified as a capital gain versus ordinary income, etc.
After 18 years of service with the Appeals, he moved to the Large Case Division of the IRS which got him involved in examining financial records of large corporations and various proposed tax issues. His biggest case exceeded $20 billion in sales!
Herb was a lay member of the Fee Arbitration Committee of the Broward County Bar Association. He also worked Offers in Compromise, Doubts as to Liability and Collectibility and cases scheduled for trial before the United States Tax Court
His area of expertise includes examinations of individuals, corporations, appeals, and negotiating with the IRS.
During his active years with the IRS, Herb worked with a lot of taxpayers and their CPAs and Attorneys in scheduling and performing tax examinations. He also got a lot of commendations from taxpayers and their CPAs on cases he resolved. He even resolved cases with Mike Sullivan and Steve Jacob of IRS. Herb was also a consultant to the IRS Criminal Investigations Division.

Herbs lectured in various professional groups such as the Greater Fort Lauderdale Tax Council, the Florida Institute of CPAs, and many radio programs.

Edward Parson

Edward is a seasoned CPA highly skilled in international taxation. He is an expert in Foreign Tax Credit, Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, Passive Foreign Investment Companies, Controlled Foreign Corporations, 
and Foreign Trust Fields.

 He has helped several individuals with unreported foreign assets, filing past due years under the Streamlined Procedure with rich experience with other amnesty programs. He also assists firms and entrepreneurs with even the most difficult demands that other CPAs are unwilling to take on. He works with local clients in person as well as through a powerful online platform for those from a farther location. Business owners (regardless of the size of their organization) rely on his experience to help them thrive.

His knowledge with inbound transactions will aid foreign nationals doing business in the United States, whether for tax planning, specific US Trade, Business, or Effectively Connected Income open matters representation 
before the IRS.
